Top 10 most demanded professions in Belarus
Repeating global trends in staffing, Belarus follows its own path in detail. Among «our» top professions there is such as a cook, a doctor of the state clinic and a seller.
Which industries need the most staff
The 1st place is IT specialists. This is the most demanded profession not only of 2013, but also of the previous 4 years. And according to employees of employment services in different cities, «itishniki» will be more and more necessary, and therefore, their salaries will only grow.
The 2nd place is lawyers. But only experienced. Graduates of law departments will still find it difficult to find employment in the specialty.
The 3rd place is office workers. A secretary, an office manager, who used to be disrespectfully called a watchman, a customer service manager, an account executive are office masters on all hands. The salaries of these workers are kept at an average level, but the demand for office managers is growing.
The 4th place is sellers. The market for seller vacancies increases every year, and the variation of wages in this area is very large — from the minimum to the amount equal to about two average salaries in the region. The largest turnover of personnel (and as a result, the largest demand for working hands — in general catering and in the small trade industry).
The 5th place is doctors of state clinics. Because of medical reforms many young doctors go to private clinics or other professions immediately after universities. And vacancies of narrow specialists in the districts remain unfilled.
The 6 place is auditors and marketers. Marketing goes ahead and requires specialists. Here is the problem because experienced market researches are needed,it is difficult for a rookie here. The audit is developing rapidly, as the laws concerning the financial reporting of enterprises change every year, and it is increasingly difficult for specialists to keep track of the absence of mistakes.
The 7th place is advertising managers. An advertising manager vacancies occupy the lion ‘s share of seats on all job sites. And all because the job is not easy, and 90 percent of managers change it to another one in the first 3 months.
The 8th place is cooks. Vacancies of cooks of national cuisine are very relevant. More and more vacancies are for sushi cooks.
The 9th place is HR specialists. Or, simply put, personnel managers. Because of the new laws small organizations close and large ones become even larger and expand the staff. While in the past recruitment was done by the manager personally, this authority is now increasingly delegated to the staff officer.
The10 th place is engineers. The rating of the most demanded professions is closed by engineers in the field of small and large industry. These vacancies are often accepted by university graduates, at first with a small salary during the period of study, but with a subsequent, rather rapid increase in salaries.
